Welcome to the Church of Christ the Servant

We are an ecumenical congregation situated in the Abbey Meads area of North Swindon.

Grounded in the love of Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we seek to celebrate God's love, share His concerns and show His care.

Our services, which are fairly informal, are led either by our minister, Rev. Rachael Wilson, or by a visiting speaker. We warmly welcome everyone of all ages and abilities to worship with us.

We meet regularly for Prayer, Bible Study and Fellowship, and have frequent social and outreach events. Children and young people are especially welcome.

Hope in uncertain times

Unfortunately all usual CtS activities and services have been suspended until further notice, but that doesn't mean we've stopped worshipping. We've put together a dedicated page of information and resources to help you worship and reflect during this difficult time.

For more direct support, please contact either our church secretary or our minister.

At this unique and challenging time in the United Kingdom over 65 churches and movements, representing hundreds of others, have come together online to sing a blessing over our land. Standing together as one, our desire is that this song will fill you with hope and encourage you. But the church is not simply singing a blessing, each day we're looking to practically be a blessing.

Our buildings may be closed but the church is very much alive!

And to all these qualities add love, which binds all things together in perfect unity.

Arty Crafty events are usually held at the church building with a selection of crafts for the children (and adults) to do, along with friendly discussion and refreshments. During this uneasy time, we are unable to meet for our Easter Arty Crafty event as planned, but the activities have been adapted into the below sheets that can be done in the comfort of your own home throughout Holy Week.
Holy Week is the week immediately preceding Easter. This year it is Sunday 5 April 2020 to Saturday 11 April 2020, with Easter Day being Sunday 12 April 2020.
