“Amidst all of the challenges of the last year, one that has hit hardest has been losing the opportunity to gather. For the Church, gathering together has not just a social significance but a deeply spiritual one, as we meet not only with others but, in a special way, with God.
This year, we’ve taken the step of faith to offer all of our celebrations, our youth and children’s programmes, and our Accessible Church stream, without charge. We hope that churches and individual Christians will be able to gather round these offerings to receive healing, encouragement and fresh vision to serve the nation as we begin the process of recovery.”
Paul Harcourt, New Wine National Leader
Arty Crafty events are usually held at the church building with a selection of crafts for the children (and adults) to do, along with friendly discussion and refreshments. During this uneasy time, we are unable to meet for our Easter Arty Crafty event as planned, but the activities have been adapted into the below sheets that can be done in the comfort of your own home throughout Holy Week.
Holy Week is the week immediately preceding Easter. This year it is Sunday 5 April 2020 to Saturday 11 April 2020, with Easter Day being Sunday 12 April 2020.
